About Tivat
Tivat is the widest town in Boka Bay. It is located in Tivat bay on the coastline, under a forest-covered mountain called Vrmac. History says at the time of lyric queen Teute in lll century before the new era, the town existed on the place where Tivat is now located. This used to be the exclusive summer residence of Queen Teute with a beautiful garden.

An interesting story is how Tivat’s central park was established by Boka’s sailors. They would bring with them different spices of exotic plants every time they came home and plant them in the town’s central park.

Tivat is located between Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi. From the town of Kotor it is only 7 minutes drive by car, from Budva 20 and from Herceg Novi 30-45 minutes.

With its fantastic geographical location, superb service and most affordable price in Montenegro, Tivat could offer you a pleasant holiday.

Huge natural contrasts are characteristics of Montenegro. While on the Montenegro coast it is a typical Mediterranean climate, only ten kilometers inland climate change to continental. Dinarski coma from mountains Orjen, Lovcen and Rumija rise steeply over sea line and like giants are blocking Mediterranean climate from moving inland. Along the coastline, the average air temperature in July is between 23.4C and 25.6C. Summers are normally long and dry while winters are short and genial.

We look forward to welcoming you!
