Quinta do Rapozinho

Deep Into Portugal. Cabeceiras de Basto is full of history and traditions, green landscapes, crystal clear water rivers and amazing paths to explore.

The rural daily life.
Visitors of all ages have the opportunity to get their hands dirty, take care of our animals, help in the garden and thus develop a close relationship with the land.

Beverages and snacks are available at the honesty bar in the shared pool area where you can enjoy the expansive mountain scenery.

Breakfast is included. Cooked meals are available on request.

All linens and towels are changed every 4 days.

 

Our Houses

The old dwellings of a farm in Minho are spread across 100 meters. They were restored by the owners who held to the characteristics of the region and recycled materials and furniture.

Casa de Cocenda

It is a cosy house with lots of light, spacious and with a panoramic view of the mountains in all bedrooms and living room. With access to the field where you can see the cows grazing.

The sofa by the fireplace suggests a nap and the great-grandfather's desk invites you to study or to write your book.
 

Casa do Compadre

A balcony facing east, where you can watch the sunrise.

In this former caretaker's house, one of the bedrooms has direct access to the garden. The other is right next to the living room. Here everything is close and welcoming.

Choose from the balcony facing east for a cool nap in the summer and the one facing south for those moments of rest in the winter with the sun on your face.
