Hotel Castillo El Collado

This magnificent charming hotel occupies a castle of exceptional beauty, dating from the early nineteenth century, nestled in one of the most privileged places in the Spanish town of Laguardia. It was built with the original stones of the old 12th-century barracks called "the King's Barracks". The hotel reception, a chapel with a 17th-century altarpiece in silver leaf and gold leaf, and an altar that in their day was Ara and they pleasantly surprises our visitors.

From the tower of the castle, which is accessed by a spiral staircase from the reception, the entire environment of the Rioja Alavesa can be seen with the large showcase of vineyards and wineries in the region.
