Located in the heart of the wonderful city of Maribor, the sustainable BE:CYCLE house makes a good start to your day-trip or journey; at any rate, it is an excellent vantage point for all new discoveries and experiences in the city on the Drava River.
Did you know that the BE:CYCLE building is 160 years old and is heritage protected by the Institute for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Slovenia? And that this building once was an important hub for citizens, with a small local grocery store and one of the area’s few butcher shops? And did you know that the building also has a sad story to tell, which nearly led to its complete demise over the years?
A CITY TREASURE
But the sad story took a happier turn in 2017, when the old building was given a new lease on life: a modern, low-energy one, with an abundance of good energy. Completely changed for the better, the entirely refurbished edifice now offers sustainable accommodation for all travelers; it has aptly been renamed “BE:CYCLE”, inviting you to become part of a change for the better.
The tenant is acquainted with General terms (house rules) and accepts them when submitting a reservation for the use of the apartment in oral, written or electronic form.

Parking is possible in public parking spaces available on Smetanova Street or other nearby streets.

MAIN ENTRANCE
Please close the front door and do not leave the apartments unlocked. ● Please close the main gate when exiting the apartment.
TAP WATER

Please do not waste water or hot water if not necessary. ● Be environmentally friendly and don’t throw away the towel after the first use.
AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING
Please keep the windows and doors closed when using the air conditioner.

For guests staying a longer period, the bed linen and towels will be changed upon request.
